As you all know, my family and I recently took a trip to California and we were able to visit a ton of fun places including Disneyland and The Golden Gate Bridge. We also got to check out the Guinness World Records Museum Hollywood, and it was so cool! I thought I would be seeing the typical world record stats like the fastest ball pitched in a baseball game or the tallest man in the world, but there was so much more to see!
One of my favorite world records is the fruit and vegetable size - the biggest fruits and vegetables grown. Can you imagine a 7 pound tomato or an 8 pound strawberry?? I want to know where I can find these!
Have you ever seen someone with this many tattoos? Me either! This is incredible. Personally, I have 3 small tattoos and 1 big one, but I couldn't imagine covering myself from head to toe in them only because the pain would be too much. I love tattoos and I think they are beautiful - but I think 4 is enough for me. ;)
I can barely sleep in my own bed for more than 5 hours at a time. This man slept on a WIRE from March 28th to September 29th!! How is that even possible?!
Overall, we had a blast at the Guinness World Records Museum. It's a pretty large attraction with lots to see, read, and discover. I was astonished at some of the facts I learned during our visit. The noise level isn't too bad, even with a ton of people inside. The museum is interactive. You can participate in a lot of the exhibits. For example, next to the heaviest man that ever existed there is a scale you can stand on to compare your weight. You can also go upstairs and compete in a world record competition (I saw a lot of children and teens working on this one). If you win, it looks like you get an official certificate!
The only complaint I have about the museum is that even though there is a second floor, the only way to get up and down is the flight of stairs. I have a 4 month old and we had our stroller so we had to carry the stroller up and down the stairs. That was a little inconvenient (and now that I think about it, also a little unsafe as well). That being said, I would definitely return again. I plan on taking my son back when he is older and can actually understand what is going on and can participate in the activities at some of the exhibits!
I received complimentary tickets in exchange for my review, but all opinions are my own!
